Does a UK eSIM give me a UK phone number?
Most travel eSIMs are data only. Plans that include calls or SMS are marked in the table. For banking and university sign ups you may still need a UK contract or pay-as-you-go SIM later.
Is my phone eSIM compatible?
Most phones from 2019 onward support eSIM, including iPhone XS and newer, Google Pixel 3 and newer, and Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer. Your phone must also be carrier unlocked. On iPhone, check Settings, General, About for a "Digital SIM" or "Available SIM" entry.
When should I install the eSIM?
Install it at home on Wi-Fi a day or two before your trip, but keep it switched off. Turn it on and enable data roaming for the eSIM line after you land.
Will I lose my Nigerian number?
No. The eSIM is added as a second line. Your Nigerian SIM stays in the phone for calls, SMS and bank OTPs while the eSIM handles data.
How do I pay?
